Ways to Help
Be A Foster Parent

We always need foster families! Foster families take care of a puppy during its first year.  The foster family helps the puppy learn basic obedience and how to behave in public places.  During a Capable Canine's transition from puppyhood to service dog the foster family provides food, water, shelter, and love.

Volunteer

Help distribute our brochures, offer your services, help with one of our fundraisers...
Or even better, organize a fundraiser on our behalf!  Many household parties for candles, kitchen goods, and cosmetics offer charitable organization benefits.  Contact us for more information!

Donate

All donations are tax-exempt and help people with disabilities overcome obstacles in their everyday lives.

Your monetary donation is always welcome and much needed!  Monetary donations allow us to purchase dogs, dog food, training, immunizations, veterinary services, and to create scholarships for families to receive service dogs.
Please think of us during your year-end tax planning and as a possible endowment. We gratefully accept cash, check, or PayPal donations.  Please make your tax deductible contributions payable to Capable Canines of Wisconsin, Inc.  A tax receipt will be mailed to you.

Donations of food, toys and veterinary services are greatly appreciated.

We also accept donated dogs.  While we would love to take in all the dogs we are offered, it takes something special to become a service dog.  We must evaluate each dog to ensure its success in the program. We are especially interested in Labrador Retrievers, Labrador Mixes, and German Shepherds from seven weeks to four months old.
